Haiti Girls Project

Lisa's Cheer Bows has been contacted by, Haiti Helpers, a non-profit organization heading to Haiti in late April. This will be their 23rd trip to Haiti in the last 10 years. This time around, they will be staying a month.

We are informed, the girls have little available there to make themselves look nice. So, the group has asked for pretty things to take to the girls.

We accepted this offer, received over 7000 yards of ribbon donations and held our Volunteer Bow Making from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday April 10th. Our wonderfully FUN crew went above and beyond our expectations and produced over 600 bows and hair ribbons to send to the little girls in Haiti.

Thanks so much to everyone. We couldn't have done this without you : )

Also, many thanks to the Big Spring United Lutheran Church for Donating the use of their Family Life Center this Saturday. And additional thanks to Denny from The Valley Times Star and Rebecca from The Sentinel, who so graciously covered our event.
